Youth Auditions for 2022-23 Season

Resonance Works seeks enthusiastic and accomplished young singers for roles and covers/understudies in its fall 2022 productions. 

  • Roles for October 2022: 
    Young Singa: 10 year old ethnically Chinese girl who immigrated to the U.S. from Indonesia with her family

    Young Rosa: 10 year old Mexican girl who immigrated to the U.S. with her family 

  • Role for December 2022:
    Amahl: 10 year old precocious boy with a vivid imagination

Casting will not be limited by age or by gender.  Those wishing to be considered should fill out the application form HERE.

Auditions will be scheduled during the week of August 15 by appointment.  Auditionees should prepare a song that best demonstrates their vocal and acting abilities.  Depending on the timing of your audition, you may be asked to prepare an excerpt from the roles we are looking to cast. 

A pianist will be provided.  Please bring sheet music for your solo selection for the pianist.

Staging rehearsals and performances for the October production will be held from September 29 - October 16, 2022, with musical coachings scheduled earlier in September. 

For the December production, staging rehearsals and performances will occur between December 6-18, with musical coachings scheduled in advance of that period. 

A small honorarium will be paid for each of these roles.

Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis and will be accepted until the roles are cast.
